Cargo Boatmen Register- Kept by The Registrar General

A book recorded the number, name, and place of Abode of every Boatman or other Person employed on Board/ any Cargo Boat.

TWO

License Ticket- Issued by The Registrar General

Every Boatman or other person employed on Board/ any Cargo Boat have to buy a license ticket.

(25 cents/ ticket)

FOUR

Duration of License- ONE year only.

FIVE, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE, TEN, TWELVE

Penalties for:

Unlawful procession of a ticket, using counterfeit tickets, working without tickets.

Employing unregistered persons.

Unlawful possession of goods.

THIRTEEN

Certificate of fitness of Cargo Boat is required.

FOURTEEN, FIVETEEN

Examination of Cargo Boat:

Can be done by the Harbour Master or Inspector anytime

Penalties:

Boats with illegal structures (e.g. false bottom) may be seized and condemned.

For Cargo Boat measuring less than 13 feet in length: $2.50

For Cargo Boat measuring less than 21 feet in length: $3.00

For Cargo Boat measuring 31 feet upward in length: $3.00

For other Boats measuring less than 12 feet in length: $0.40

For other Boats measuring less than 21 feet in length: $0.75

For other Boats measuring less than 31 feet in length: $1.20

For other Boats measuring 31 feet upward in length: $1.75
